Did You Know? In 1991, researchers at Cambridge got tired of walking down the hallway to see if there coffee was ready, so what did they do? They pointed a camera at the pot, wrote some code to send low-res images over the network — and accidently invented the world’s first webcam. It stayed online until 2001 when the department moved buildings.
